Georgia High School Soccer - Monroe Area toppled by Jefferson
March 25, 2025: Monroe, GA 30656 Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA), 9-2 in a league test.
With the triumph, Jefferson advances its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to clash with the Spartans in a 3A Area 8 test on Tuesday, April 1. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 4-6.
The Purple Hurricanes now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity Christian for a non-league test on Friday, March 28. Monroe Area will clash with a Lions team coming off a 2-1 league win over Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA). The Lions record now stands at 8-4.
