Pennsylvania High School Softball - Canton tipped by Athens
The Athens Wildcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Canton Warriors to 8 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Athens moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Troy (Troy, PA) to clash with the Trojans in a Northern Tier - Western game on Thursday, April 8. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Wyalusing Valley Rams (Wyalusing, PA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 30. Canton will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
