March 26, 2025: Winchester, KY 40391 The George Rogers Clark Cardinals softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets to 1 in the Cardinals non-league win on Wednesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bath County for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 27. George Rogers Clark will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 11-1 league win over Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Nicholas County moves to 0-4 on the season. The Bluejackets travel to Augusta (Augusta, KY) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 27.
