The North Wilkes Vikings baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Alleghany Trojans to 6 in the Vikings non-league win on Thursday.

The Vikings now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Wilkes Central for a Foothills 2A test on Friday, March 28. North Wilkes will play a Eagles team coming off a 7-5 league loss to North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-9.
