With the triumph, Salem moves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Owensville (Owensville, MO) to confront the Dutchmen in a Class 4 District 4 contest on Monday, March 31. The Dutchmen come into the contest with a record of 1-3. Owensville lost 7-4 in their recent non-league contest against Southern Boone (Ashland, MO)
The Whippets now possess a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Doniphan for a non-league contest on Friday, March 28.
