The Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils baseball team scored 18 runs and held the host Lincoln Prep Lightning to 8 in the Dust Devils non-league win on Thursday.

The Dust Devils now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tempe Prep for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. Santa Cruz Valley will clash with a Knights team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Heritage Academy (Laveen, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Lincoln Prep drops to 3-6 on the year. The Lightning host Gilbert Classical Academy (Gilbert, AZ) to clash with the Spartans in a 2A East test on Tuesday, April 1. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 3-4. Gilbert Classical Academy won 15-4 in their recent league test against Miami (Miami, AZ)
