In Thursday's non-league bout, the San Tan Charter Roadrunners (Gilbert, AZ) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Tempe Prep Knights (Tempe, AZ), by a tally of 28-0.

Next up, the Roadrunners encounter the Glendale Prep Academy Griffins (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. San Tan Charter will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record.

With the defeat, Tempe Prep drops to 1-5 on the year. The Knights host Heritage Academy (Laveen, AZ) to clash with the Heroes in a 2A Valley challenge on Friday, March 28. The Heroes go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Heritage Academy won 21-4 in their recent non-league bout against Highland Prep West (Avondale, AZ)
