March 27, 2025: Atlanta, GA 30328 Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the host Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), 8-7 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Lakeside advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Midtown (Atlanta, GA) to encounter the Knights in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 3-8. Midtown won 15-1 in their recent league battle against Jackson (Atlanta, GA)
The Mustangs now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Decatur for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 3. Mount Vernon will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 14-6 league win over Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-1.
