Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting St. Martin Yellow Jackets (Ocean Springs, MS), 10-7 in a league game.

With the triumph, Harrison Central improves its record to 8-12 on the year. The Red Rebels travel to Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Saturday, March 29. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 6-5.

The Yellow Jackets now hold a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Gulfport for a 7A Region 4 game on Thursday, April 3. St. Martin will face a Admirals squad coming off a 8-3 league win over Biloxi (Biloxi, MS). The Admirals record now stands at 10-8.
