In Thursday's league match, the host Harrison Central Red Rebels softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Ocean Springs Greyhounds.

The Red Rebels (9-12) will now prepare for their match against Picayune (Picayune, MS). The Maroon Tide come into the non-league match with a 10-11 record. In their last match, Picayune nipped Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS), 8-2, in a league match.
