The Tishomingo County Braves softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Ripley Tigers to 1 in the Braves league win on Thursday.

The Braves now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amory for a 4A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, April 1. Tishomingo County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Ripley moves to 9-14 on the season. The Tigers travel to Booneville (Booneville, MS) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Friday, March 28.
