The Jordan-Matthews Jets baseball squad (Siler City, NC), was overwhelmed 16-7 in Friday's non-league game with the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC)

The Cougars (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 12-0 record. In their last game, Randleman defeated Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 16-5, in a league game.

Next, the Jets face the Glenn Bobcats (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 6. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record.
