California High School Baseball - Encinal gets by Mt. Eden

Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Mt. Eden Monarchs (Hayward, CA), 6-3 in a league test.

With the win, Encinal upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Jets travel to Piedmont (Piedmont, CA) to battle the Highlanders in a non-league test on Saturday, March 30. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 8-2. Piedmont won 8-4 in their recent league test against Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA)

With the defeat, Mt. Eden falls to 2-7 on the season. The Monarchs host Oakland Tech (Oakland, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 3. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 7-4. Oakland Tech won 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Saint Mary's (Albany, CA)
