Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ) and the visiting Gilbert Christian Knights (Gilbert, AZ), observed Cactus's volleyball team hold off Gilbert Christian by a count of 2-1.

The Cobras (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dysart (El Mirage, AZ). The Demons enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Dysart got by Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Knights battle the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 28. Gilbert Christian will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Pride enter the contest with a 1-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ).
