South Carolina High School Softball - Chapin bounces Irmo
March 28, 2025: Columbia, SC 29212 In Friday's league match, the visiting Chapin Eagles softball team scored a tight 8-4 win over the Irmo Yellow Jackets.
The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their match against White Knoll (Lexington, SC). The Timberwolves come into the AAAAA Region 4 match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, White Knoll nipped May River (Bluffton, SC), 7-6, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Yellow Jackets battle the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes (Irmo, SC) in a AAAAA Region 4 match, on Tuesday, April 1. Irmo will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Silver Foxes come into the match with a 4-7 record after their 12-5 league win over River Bluff (Lexington, SC).
