Kentucky High School Softball - Rowan County bounces Estill County
March 29, 2024: Morehead, KY 40351 The Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) softball routed the visiting Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY), 15-5 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Vikings (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against Tates Creek (Lexington, KY). The Commodores go into the non-league bout with a 4-7 record. In their last bout, Tates Creek toppled Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY), 8-3, in a non-league bout.
The Engineers now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Perry County Central for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 30. Estill County will confront a Commodores squad coming off a 16-5 non-league win over Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 8-2.
