In Saturday's league match, the visiting Wells Leopards softball team scored a nice 26-13 win over the Mineral County Serpents.

The Leopards (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage (Yerington, NV). The Rams come into the 1A Northern match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage was routed by Virginia City (Virginia City, NV), 19-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the Serpents confront the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) in a 1A Northern match, on Tuesday, April 1. Mineral County will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 0-5 record after their 23-15 league loss to Virginia City (Virginia City, NV).
