Nevada High School Softball - Mineral County succumbs to Wells

In Friday's non-league test, the Wells Leopards (Wells, NV) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), by a tally of 13-3.

Next, the Leopards clash with the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 9. Wells will attempt to advance on its 18-6 season record. The Lakers go into the test with a 14-6 record after their 9-1 league loss to Wells (Wells, NV).

The Serpents (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Virginia City (Virginia City, NV). The Muckers go into the non-league test with a 13-9 record. In their last test, Virginia City was routed by Wells (Wells, NV), 15-13, in a league test.
