Nevada High School Softball - Yerington bounces Pershing County

The Yerington Lions softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Pershing County Mustangs to 3 in the Lions league win on Saturday.

The Lions now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oasis Academy for a 2A- Northern battle on Tuesday, April 1. Yerington will confront a Bighorns team coming off a 21-4 league win over Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV). The Bighorns record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Pershing County moves to 8-7 on the season. The Mustangs host Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV) to confront the Lakers in a non-league battle on Friday, April 4. The Lakers come into the battle with a record of 6-2. Pyramid Lake won 11-4 in their recent league battle against Carlin (Carlin, NV)
