In Friday's non-league test, the Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV) softball squad overwhelmed the host Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), by a tally of 14-4.

Next, the Bighorns clash with the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 9. Oasis Academy will attempt to advance on its 21-5 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 18-7 record after their 18-8 league win over Incline (Incline Village, NV).

The Mustangs (13-14) will now prepare for their test against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Battle Mountain prevailed over West Wendover (West Wendover, NV), 1-0, in a league test.
