In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Mission Oak Hawks baseball team scored a tight 8-7 triumph over the Independence Falcons.

With the triumph, Mission Oak advances its record to 4-8 on the season. The Hawks travel to Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league match on Monday, March 30. The Pioneers come into the match with a record of 5-5. Mt. Whitney lost 7-5 in their recent league match against Monache (Porterville, CA)

The Falcons now have a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tulare Western for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 31. Independence will play a Mustangs team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-5.
