The Desert Vista Thunder softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Casteel Colts to 7 in the Thunder non-league win on Monday.

The Thunder now possess a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Xavier College Prep for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 1. Desert Vista will confront a Gators team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Gators record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Casteel moves to 6-11 on the season. The Colts travel to Basha (Chandler, AZ) to confront the Bears in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 12-3. Basha won 8-7 in their recent league battle against Perry (Gilbert, AZ)
