The Desert Vista Thunder softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Corona del Sol Aztecs to 4 in the Thunder league win on Tuesday.

The Thunder now sport a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host O'Connor for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 23. Desert Vista will confront a Eagles team coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 17-9.

With the loss, Corona del Sol moves to 13-13 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ) to confront the Colts in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 24. The Colts come into the battle with a record of 7-19. Casteel lost 10-2 in their recent league battle against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ)
