In Tuesday's league bout, the Rio Hondo Bobcats (Rio Hondo, TX) baseball team trounced the visiting Progreso Red Ants (Progreso, TX), by a count of 12-3.

The Bobcats now own a 11-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Raymondville for a 3A Region IV District 32 challenge on Thursday, April 2. Rio Hondo will encounter a Bearkats squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Lyford (Lyford, TX). The Bearkats record now stands at 12-6.
