In Friday's league game, the visiting Raymondville Bearkats baseball team scored a nice 20-1 victory over the Progreso Red Ants.

The Bearkats (16-6) will now prepare for their game against Premont (Premont, TX). The Cowboys enter the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Premont was overwhelmed by Freer (Freer, TX), 7-2, in a league game.

Next, the Red Ants face the Rio Hondo Bobcats (Rio Hondo, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 32 game, on Friday, April 17. Progreso will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record.
