South Carolina High School Softball - Midland Valley bounces Blythewood
April 1, 2023: Graniteville, SC 29829 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) and the visiting Blythewood Bengals (Blythewood, SC), witnessed Midland Valley's softball squad tip Blythewood by a count of 13-7.
The Mustangs now sport a 12-3 record. They play next when they host White Knoll for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 11. Midland Valley will face a Timberwolves squad coming off a 7-5 league loss to River Bluff (Lexington, SC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Blythewood moves to 9-4 on the season. The Bengals travel to Spring Valley (Columbia, SC) to face the Vikings in a AAAAA Region 3 match on Tuesday, April 4. The Vikings go into the match with a record of 8-8. Spring Valley lost 14-3 in their recent league match against Clover (Clover, SC)
