The West Columbus Vikings baseball squad (Cerro Gordo, NC), was overwhelmed 9-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the host South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC)

With the triumph, South Columbus moves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Stallions travel to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC) to confront the Eagles in a Waccamaw 1A/2A contest on Wednesday, April 2. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 4-6. East Bladen lost 2-0 in their recent league contest against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC)

The Vikings now possess a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A contest on Friday, April 4.
