North Carolina High School Baseball - South Columbus holds off West Columbus
April 4, 2025: Cerro Gordo, NC 28430 In Friday's league game, the visiting South Columbus Stallions baseball team scored a close 4-0 win over the West Columbus Vikings.
The Stallions (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Titans go into the Waccamaw 1A/2A game with a 4-10 record. In their last game, Heide Trask was overwhelmed by East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC), 16-11, in a league game.
Next, the Vikings play the East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) in a Waccamaw 1A/2A game, on Tuesday, April 8. West Columbus will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 5-7 record after their 16-11 league win over Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC).
