April 2, 2022: South Gate, CA 90280 The Mendez Jaguars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host South Gate Rams to 0 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Jaguars now have a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfax for a non-league game on Saturday, April 2. Mendez will meet a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA). The Lions record now stands at 8-3.
The Rams (13-4) will now prepare for their game against Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA). The Spartans enter the Eastern game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Huntington Park dropped by South East (South Gate, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
