In Tuesday's league battle, the host Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Sunnyslope Vikings.

The Mountain Lions (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles come into the 6A Desert Valley battle with a 19-3 record. In their last battle, O'Connor achieved victory over Chandler (Chandler, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley battle, on Thursday, April 4. Sunnyslope will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 6-11 record after their 3-2 league win over Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ).
