East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC), 4-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, East Rowan moves its record to 14-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to battle the Vikings in a South Piedmont 3A match on Friday, April 4. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 4-10. Central Cabarrus lost 11-0 in their recent league match against Carson (China Grove, NC)

The Colts now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkwood for a Rocky River 2A/3A match on Friday, April 4. West Stanly will battle a Wolf Pack squad coming off a 12-3 league loss to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 4-10.
