North Carolina High School Baseball - Hickory Ridge defeats West Stanly
April 18, 2025: Oakboro, NC 28129 The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host West Stanly Colts to 2 in the Ragin' Bulls non-league win on Friday.
The Ragin' Bulls now hold a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Cabarrus for a Greater Metro 4A test on Tuesday, April 22. Hickory Ridge will play a Wolverines team coming off a 4-2 league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-11.
With the defeat, West Stanly drops to 15-6 on the year. The Colts travel to Richmond (Rockingham, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league test on Monday, April 21. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 13-7. Richmond won 11-4 in their recent league test against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC)
