The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers to 1 in the Ragin' Bulls non-league win on Wednesday.

The Ragin' Bulls now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mallard Creek for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Hickory Ridge will play a Mavericks team coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Mount Pleasant drops to 1-1 on the year. The Tigers host Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC) to play the Knights in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A test on Friday, February 28.
