February 25, 2025: Waxhaw, NC 28173 The Cuthbertson Cavaliers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting West Stanly Colts to 0 in the Cavaliers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host South Mecklenburg for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Cuthbertson will play a Sabres team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, West Stanly drops to 0-1 on the year. The Colts host South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to play the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the test with a record of 1-0. South Stanly won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Montgomery Central (Troy, NC)
