In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting The Linsly School Cadets baseball team scored a close 14-8 victory over the University Hawks.

The Cadets (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Brooke (Wellsburg, WV). The Bruins enter the non-league game with a 7-3 record.

Next, the Hawks face the Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) in a Two Rivers game, on Thursday, April 3. University will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Mohigans enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV).
