April 2, 2025: Vernon, NJ 07462 In Wednesday's non-league test, the Newton Braves (Newton, NJ) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ), by a count of 16-3.
Next up, the Braves battle the Hackettstown Tigers (Hackettstown, NJ) in a Pooley test, on Saturday, April 5. Newton will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ). The Crimson enter the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Morristown-Beard topped Oratory Prep (Summit, NJ), 4-3, in a league test.
