The Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC), 11-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Uwharrie Charter Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 6. Pinecrest will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.

The Jaguars (4-8) will now prepare for their bout against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Knights enter the non-league bout with a 8-6 record. In their last bout, West Bladen was overwhelmed by Fairmont (Fairmont, NC), 7-4, in a league challenge.
