Kentucky High School Softball - Lancaster gets by Harrison County
April 3, 2024: Cynthiana, KY 41031 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH) and the host Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY), witnessed Lancaster's softball squad tip Harrison County by a count of 2-1.
The Golden Gales now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mercy for a non-league match on Thursday, April 4. Lancaster will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Lafayette (Lexington, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Harrison County moves to 10-4 on the season. The Thorobreds travel to Woodford County (Versailles, KY) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Thursday, April 4. The Yellowjackets go into the match with a record of 10-3. Woodford County won 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY)
