Arizona High School Softball - Metro Tech edges Alhambra

In Thursday's league match, the host Metro Tech Knights softball team scored a tight 20-18 win over the Alhambra Lions.

The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against North (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, North nudged Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ), 16-11, in a league contest.

The Lions now hold a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Willow Canyon for a non-league contest on Friday, April 4. Alhambra will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Ironwood (Glendale, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-6.
