April 3, 2025: Newark, NJ 07104 The Arts Jaguars overwhelmed the host Tech Panthers softball squad by a count of 23-17 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Jaguars meet the Barringer Blue Bears (Newark, NJ) in a SEC - Independence challenge, on Friday, April 4. Arts will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Blue Bears go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 21-2 non-league win over University (Newark, NJ).
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bard (New York, NY). The Raptors go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Bard held off Newark Tech (Newark, NJ), 27-12, in a non-league challenge.
