North Carolina High School Softball - Cornerstone Charter bounces River Mill

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals softball team scored a nice 14-6 win over the River Mill Jaguars.

The Cardinals (5-8) will now prepare for their match against North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Vikings come into the non-league match with a 3-8 record. In their last match, North Stokes was routed by Oak Level Baptist Academy (Stokesdale, NC), 5-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Jaguars confront the Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A match, on Tuesday, April 8. River Mill will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Grizzlies come into the match with a 10-3 record after their 6-5 league win over Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC).
