Louisiana High School Softball - Salmen drops to Franklinton
April 3, 2025: Franklinton, LA 70438 Franklinton Demons (Franklinton, LA) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA), 20-7 in a league game.
With the triumph, Franklinton improves its record to 8-11 on the year. The Demons travel to Independence (Independence, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, April 4. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 2-10. Independence lost 23-12 in their recent non-league game against Varnado (Angie, LA)
The Spartans now hold a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Pine for a non-league game on Thursday, April 3. Salmen will play a Raiders squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA). The Raiders record now stands at 8-9.
