Louisiana High School Softball - Mt. Hermon bounces Salmen
March 19, 2025: Mt. Hermon, LA 70450 The Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Salmen Spartans to 9 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Wednesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holden for a B District 7 battle on Thursday, March 20. Mt. Hermon will confront a Rockets team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA). The Rockets record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Salmen moves to 3-7 on the season. The Spartans travel to Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA) to confront the Cajuns in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. The Cajuns come into the battle with a record of 5-2. Metairie Park Country Day won 21-0 in their recent league battle against Cohen (New Orleans, LA)
