California High School Softball - Foothill gets by Villa Park

April 4, 2023: Santa Ana, CA 92705

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA) and the visiting Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA), witnessed Foothill's softball squad tip Villa Park by a count of 3-2.

The Knights now sport a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Estancia for a non-league match on Thursday, April 6. Foothill will face a Eagles squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Costa Mesa (Costa Mesa, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Villa Park moves to 14-5 on the season. The Spartans travel to El Modena (Orange, CA) to face the Vanguards in a Crestview match on Thursday, April 6. The Vanguards go into the match with a record of 10-7. El Modena lost 4-3 in their recent league match against Canyon (Anaheim, CA)
