Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Southern Columbia Area wallops Minersville

In Friday's non-league game, the host Southern Columbia Area Tigers baseball team scored a nice 16-6 win over the Minersville Battlin' Miners.

The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA). The Panthers go into the Heartland III game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Bloomsburg was overwhelmed by Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA), 4-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Battlin' Miners play the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils (Shenandoah, PA) in a Schuylkill County 2 game, on Monday, April 7. Minersville will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the game with a 5-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA).
