In Monday's league bout, the Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bloomsburg Panthers (Bloomsburg, PA), by a tally of 17-1.

Next up, the Tigers encounter the Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) in a Heartland III bout, on Wednesday, April 9. Southern Columbia Area will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Lancers enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 12-9 non-league win over Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA).

The Panthers (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Muncy (Muncy, PA). The Indians enter the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Muncy was overwhelmed by Millville (Millville, PA), 19-4, in a league bout.
