The McDowell Titans baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Enka Jets to 13 in the Titans non-league win on Friday.

The Titans now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Erwin for a non-league test on Monday, April 7. McDowell will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, Enka drops to 1-7 on the year. The Jets host West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, April 7. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 13-1. West Henderson won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC)
