The Homestead Mustangs baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Milpitas Trojans to 0 in the Mustangs league win on Friday.

The Mustangs now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leigh for a non-league test on Monday, April 7. Homestead will clash with a Longhorns team coming off a 20-1 league win over Leland (San Jose, CA). The Longhorns record now stands at 10-1.

With the defeat, Milpitas drops to 1-8 on the year. The Trojans travel to Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA) to clash with the Chargers in a test on Wednesday, April 9. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 6-4. Wilcox won 8-1 in their recent league test against Gunn (Palo Alto, CA)
