April 4, 2025: Moneta, VA 24121 The Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) softball routed the visiting Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA), 10-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 4. Staunton River will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA).
The Warriors (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Lord Botetourt toppled Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA), 19-2, in a non-league challenge.
