Center Roughriders (Center, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX), 11-9 in a league game.

With the triumph, Center improves its record to 5-19 on the year. The Roughriders host Madisonville (Madisonville, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, April 8. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 10-9.
